Obama Plans Unilateral Disarmament

Yesterday the Associated Press reported that the Obama Administration has drafted several plans to cut the nuclear arsenal by 80%.  Folks, this is just plain and simple unilateral disarmament of the U.S. military to defend the U.S.  This latest news follows the largest plans to cut Department of Defense spending since the Jimmy Carter presidency.

This is just plain treasonous. With current plans underway to cut overall defense spending and expected cuts in the nuclear arsenal are nothing short of intention plans to make America weaker and defenseless.  Simply put, the U.S. military will be gutted by the time Obama is done with it.  How can it survive over a half billion cuts in spending and more than two-thirds in cuts of its nuclear arsenal?  And at a time when the we are still battling Al-Qaeda and rogue nations such as Iran, Venezuela, China and Russia.

If you recall in May 2010, the Obama Administration leaked that the U.S. had a current nuclear arsenal of 5,113.  This count was down from 9,960 reported in 2006.  The continued downward trend of the U.S. nuclear arsenal should be no surprise as President Obama has long called for a "world without nuclear weapons."  While that is a noble and admirable goal, it is only so provided all nations and organization also feel the same way.

Surely Iran, China, Russia and Venezuela are not following suit.  All four have pledged to seek or expand their nuclear weapons potential.

Only President Obama, more than then years after the September 11th attacks on U.S. soil with Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, Hamas, the Hezbollah still at work would seek to unilaterally disarm.  Let's be frank here, this is a direct violation of the U.S. Constitution to "provide a common defense".  Surely, the Constitutional scholar and attorney remembers this clause when he became a lawyer, legislator and now President.  But for Obama, this is intentional.

Radio host Rush Limbaugh has been all over this.  Listen to his eloquent rant:
